*The Tiny Toon Adventures Fan-Fiction Reference Guide v19.0 *maintained by Kevin Mickel (HKUriah@AOL.com) If you want an HTML version of this document, there is one at, http://www.acmelabs.com/tta-fanfic/ttaffrg.html Okay, folks, here it is, the latest version of the complete guide to TTA Fan-Fiction. I certainly hope that anyone who sees this finds it to be interesting, and that the Author's of the various stories will find that more people are reading their works, and that they are getting more E-mail as a result. As far as that goes, use the E-mail adresses listed here, as the ones included with the stories may have become obsolete since they were written. Be advised though that all information is accurate only to the best of my knowledge. If you see any inaccuracies, please let me know, and I will correct them. Please be sure and check out my homepage, which is specificlly for TTA Fan-Fiction. Just about all of the stories can be found there, and there are links to FTP sites for all of the fanfic related artwork. *The URL is http://members.aol.com/HKUriah/index.html Let me know if anything doens't seem right about it. Also, I recommend that if you do get the stories there, or even this guide, that you save them as a text file and read them offline to avoid any problems in formatting created by theWeb. **How to recognize what is new... Basicly, if you see ** at the beginning of a line, that means that everything up to the next space between sections is new. If you see a * at the beginning of a line, that means that something in that one line has changed from the previous edition. The following format will be used for each entry in the Guide: Title Author(E-mail) Cast of Characters, in order of appearance. Brief summary of story. A few brief comments from various individuals, including the authors, about the story. Descriptions of any Fan-Art that is based upon the story. Jurrasick Duck by David Herbert (DaffyDuck1@AOL.com) Buster, Bugs, Donald Duck, Plucky, Shirley, Monty, Babs, Calamity, Daffy, various other Toons in cameos. As the title implies, this is a TTA parody of Jurassic Park. Montana Max has found a way to recreate old time Toons from all the major animation studios that were thought to be long dead. The plot closely follows that of the movie, but it manages to do it TTA style and with a bit of originality along the way. > Nice story... although it might've been funnier to use the giant Elmira from K-Acme TV instead of Rover. [Venis] > All around solid story, and quite humorous. Some classic Plucky one-liners in this one! [Mikote] > >AHEM< "Jurassick Duck" is BRILLIANT, man! What more can be said about it? A PERFECT spoof of both JP and the entire animation industry. [Gjovaag] > This was a great story! Nothin' like a huge Daffy to spice things up, eh? [Cooke] > A charming and often funny spoof, I liked the way he weaved the old much-maligned Daffy into the plot. Some very painful sight gags were a plus. Pretty good as parodies go, although I'm not usually fond of them. [Nefaria] > I liked this story, it was one of the better parodies that I have read. The storyline of the movie was well converted, and if ever animated, it would probably be better than the Jurrasic Park movie! (Note to all lawyers: This announcement void where prohibited by law.) [MattB] > Rather good parody of 'Jurassic Park', complete with monsters running amok. Rather messy on how Donald Duck was dealt with, but it fits into the story. Also a nice comment on the benefits of being a Plucky-esque anvil magnet. [Fox] Related artwork: Jurduck.gif, drawn by the author. A Jurrasick Duck Logo spoofing the Jurrasic Park Logo with a profile of Daffy replacing the skeleton of the T-Rex Buster's Guide to Unconsummated Romance by John Friedrich (Nefaria@AOL.com) Buster, Babs, Elmer, Elmyra, Pete Puma, Shirley, Babs Mom, Fifi, Mortimer, Plucky, Hamton, Sweetie, Furball, Monty, Stevie, Jenny, Jody, Karen, Barney the Dinosaur Babs challenges Elmyra to a contest to see which of them Buster likes best. Babs dresses up as Elmyra and Elmyra dresses up as Babs, and as a result, Buster get's rather confused. One thing leads to another, and both the Bunnies wind up as prisoners of Elmyra in an escape proof cage. (The Acme Calamity 2000 Escape Proof Bunny Cage) While in the cage, one thing leads to another, and it seems that four young toddler rabbits soon join Buster & Babs in their captivity. They are only finally able to escape when Babs "liquidates" Buster's assets, but not before Elmyra subjects Babs to some horrendous tortures that are far too gruesome to describe. When all is said and done, Buster & Babs put the pieces back together and move on, but not before they scared one final time. > Ya' gotta read this one, kids! Be warned, however, that you gotta stay alert in order to follow the story. [Mikote] > One of the best stories I've read. If there's one story you read, this is the one! [Feder] > A toon epic. Brilliant dialog; I find myself quoting it as if it were canon! [JW] > My first story, and my best. The story is quite jumpy and sometimes hard to follow, but it's got some solid drama and some amusing comedy. The character development is mostly dead-on, although the possibility of toon death is raised. Anyways, if you're fascinated by the Buster-Babs-Elmyra love triangle, you should enjoy it. [Nefaria] > It's a nice story, and very toony! The 2nd and especially the 3rd bits can be a little hard to follow, but this is only due to the fact that Nef has tried to capture the frantic pace of the show! Sometimes falls a little out of character, but nothing too drastic [KeV] > A good story, if a little complicated for my liking. It also implies toon death is a possibility, but hey, so do I. :) [MattB] Related Artwork: bgtur01a.gif to bgtur15b.gif, drawn by KeV Beeley (eeu067@bangor.ac.uk). Unfortunately for them, Campus Mentis is not a fun place to be. The guys and gals are separated by a lake and forbidden to have any contact with each other. Well, they ignore this prohibition and wind up in the wrong cabins having to impersonate each other in order to hide their breaking of the rules. > It has it's moments, but at times seems kinda formulaeic and uninspired. [Mikote] > The only thing that this story is missing is a second part... Otherwise, bravo! [Nick] > An absolute screamer! Maggie gets the female toons down perfectly, and she puts that spin on them that only girls can do right. All the characters are playful and cheerful, despite the fact that they're being treated like new recruits at boot camp the whole time. It's still not quite finished; somebody bug BabsyB@AOL.com and tell her to finish! [Nefaria] > I still vote this most likely to be confused with a REAL TTA cartoon! It's very funny, and very in character. IMO, the bit with the fan scripts should be dropped and replaced wiv something else. I *gotta* see a picture gang in each other's clothes! [KeV] > One of the more comedic fanfiction stories, and generally pretty good all round. Babs and Buster switching places, what a concept! [MattB] Aw, Have A Heart! by Mike Cote (mikote@AOL.com) Babs, Shirley, Fifi, Hamton, Plucky, Buster, Pete Puma, Wakko, Fowlmouth, Ramona Rabbit, Bugs, Foghorn, Ariel There's a new girl rabbit at Acme Loo, and it seems that Buster has fallen for her. Babs however, refuses to simply accept this, and decides that she will fight for her man. Before long, Buster realizes that Babs is the only girl for him, but that doesn't stop her from exacting her revenge upon Ramona for trying to steal him in the first place. > OK I guess, but I have a problem with Babs throwing fits of jealousy...[Bauerle] > Wonderful, believable treatment of Buster and Babs' relationship. [JW] > Kind of sad seeing the bunnies get torn apart this way; an unfortunate chain of events convinces them that they don't love each other anymore. Babs might have gone overboard a little; she never got mean-spirited on the show. Still, it's interesting to see what jealousy can do to toons. [Nefaria] > I guess I have mixed feelings about this one. I liked the change of making Buster the unfaithful one, instead of dumping Babs on another character, as tends to happen. But I don't like the jealous Babs. She seems to be a mite too neurotic (even for her!) [MattB] Related Artwork: Rivals2.gif, drawn by Diana Warren, (PrOzAcWoMn@AOL.com). Babs, Babs' Mom, Mortimer, Arnold, Buster, Plucky, Hamton. Babs has just gotten her Learner's Permit, and drives her Mom to the store. Only minor difficulties arise on the journey, but then Arnold tells her she is parked next to a fire hydrant and must move or get a ticket. While moving, she runs into (figuratively speaking, not literally) Buster, Plucky and Hamton, and she proceeds to take them on the Mother of All Joy Rides. Needless to say, there are long lasting consequences to this activity. > A classic! That "Speedway of Death" gag had me ROFL and _almost_ made up for the TTBS flamewar in a.t.tt that lead to .fandom... [Bauerle] > Snork! Bwah-hah-hah! [JW] > Another marvelously delightful story. Babs Bunny sure has a lot of crazy fun during the short time she's allowed to drive. Her personality is perfect; this is one of those that might have been produced if it had been written by the studio. And since it's in script format, you can read about all of the detailed sight gags and envision them yourself. [Nefaria] > One major flaw: Babs is too short to drive a car! (Unless it was a Mescerschmitt I suppose. Or one of those Amazing Outspan Oranges cars we have in town...) A little flat but it *was* an early fan script! [KeV] > Look out drivers! I can go for my permit and I'm considering the Babs Bunny School of Driving! [Feder] > A well written story, with some genuinely funny moments. Voted by me to be the Most Likely To Have Been A Genuine TTA Script In A Previous Life. [MattB] Buster & Babs: No Relation? *by Kevin Mickel (HKUriah@AOL.com) Buster, Babs, Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Elmyra, Bugs, Hector Hare, Monty. It seems that Buster and Babs are having trouble getting along. After two fights, Babs agrees to got the Election Party with Hector Hare instead of Buster. However, there is more to this character, and his apparent affection for Babs, than meets the eye. When all is said and done, things are back to normal between Buster and Babs, but there are also indications that they will be growing much closer in the future. > A playful and gentle romp with the characters, punctuated by jealousy. An alternative interpretation to how the characters would react, this one seems quite believable. Genuine affection here that seemed missing in many fanscripts [Nefaria] Related Artwork: banbtitl.jpg, drawn by Thorne. e-mail, thorne@azstarnet.com A "Title Card" illusrtration of Buster & Babs with their back to one another looking very irritated. Special Live Action Guest Stars: Tress MacNeille and Steven Spielberg. In this follow up to "Buster and Babs: No Relation?" Bug's Bunny shows up in Acme Acres to make trouble for Bugs Bunny, and winds up legally claiming all the rights to their name. While Bugs heads off to Cartoon Sacramento to file his appeal, Buster and Babs begin an investigation of their own to find any evidence that can be used by Bugs against Bug's in the appeal. Along the way, Buster let's Babs in on a very important secret, and he proclaims his true feelings for her. Then, armed with all the evidence needed to invalidate Bug's claim to the name, Buster, Babs and Bugs go about reclaiming it while making sure that Bug's can never bother them again. > Very interesting story, and even a little of animation history (plus, mystery and legal stuff! Just like Grisham!) [Nick] > Compelling plotline, in which Bugs Bunny's origins come back to haunt him. Very clever in its linking of the real world to the toon world. Wish I'd known more about all those old characters so I'd have gotten all the jokes and the resolution the first time through [Nefaria] > The Tress MacNeille cameo was beyond weird! Interesting thoughts on an old query! [KeV] Related artwork: nametitle.jpg, drawn by Thorne. And That's A Wrap! *by Kevin Mickel (HKUriah@AOL.com) Hamton, Fifi, Shirley, Plucky, Babs, Buster, Bugs, Monty, Elmyra, Clyde Bunny, Arnold, Harriet. A follow up to What's in a Name? that brings certain threads left hanging in that story to their logical conclusion. Set on Valentine's day, the story opens with each of the major Toon guys giving a present to their girlfriends. Buster's present to Babs will have a major impact on their future, and Monty's present to Elmyra provides the conflict that sets many events in motion, including the entire world learning the secret that Buster shared with Babs in the previous story. > I woke my brother up with my laughter, especially when the "Vanderbunny's" paid Monty a visit. [KMats] > Great!!! I want more! Don't leave me hanging!! I gotta know what happens with B&B! It can't be "A Wrap!" [Feder] > A quite satisfying conclusion to the trilogy (ah, but it does go on, wait until Mondo Negatory Tiny Toons: The Other Side of Comedy arrives!). That secret is one that's been going on for quite a while; I have a hunch that it's true. Nice to see the bunnies get even closer together. The Buster and Babs Trilogy *by Kevin Mickel (HKUriah@AOL.com) This is the above three stories as a group. I've gotten a few comments on the series as a whole, so I thought I'd create a separate listing for them, rather than stick them with the comments for "And That's a Wrap! where they don't really fit. > All were great! B&B were in character yet with just enough idealistic romance to make me believe this is how things will go for them... [Bauerle] > The best fanfiction script(s) out there, as of yet, IMO. [MattB] > I have read and downloaded all three parts, and have found the work as a whole quite entertaining. While it is not perfect, there are no immediate problems that come to mind. [Fox] A Really Very Special Tiny Toon Adventures Thanksgiving..I guess by Mike Cote (Mikote@AOL.com) Buster, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Shirley, Fifi, Dot, Yakko, Wakko, Babs Dad, Wade and Winnie Pig, Hamton's Grandparents, Bugs, Elmer Fudd, Uncle Stinky. The ghosts of several famous murderers also make cameo appearances. Buster, Plucky and Fifi have been invited by Babs, Shirley and Hamton to share Thanksgiving dinner with their respective families. None of the invites are overly thrilled by the invitation, each of them dreading what will happen at the dinner. In addition to being worried about Babs parents, Buster also has to deal with the fact that both Yakko and Wakko are hitting on Babs, and Dot is hitting on him. All three dinners start out awkwardly, but by the time they are over, each of the Tiny Toons has gotten what he or she wanted in the first place. Except for Plucky, he only got part of what he wanted. > Didn't do much for me; basically another reminder of "marry the girl, marry her family" [Bauerle] Had some charming moments when the toons acted normal, and some unsettling moments, like the bunnies meeting the Warners. Never really got as deep as I would have liked. [Nefaria] > If Hamton's family were used more, I'm sure they'd be just like this! Same goes for Fifi! [KeV] > A good story all round, but I didn't like the conflict between Buster and Yakko that much. [MattB] The Incredible Yucksmen by Andrew Tuttle (Valid E-mail address unavailable) Babs, Buster, Shirley, Plucky, Dizzy, Hamton, Monty Arnold, Fifi, Gogo, Elmyra Furball, Calamity, Mary Melody, Foghorn Leghorn An X-men TTA parody where Hamton is cast in the role of the villain. A series of gags wherein the Toonsters demonstrate some of their mutant powers is followed by Hamton's arrival and explanation of how he became a Supervillan. Things are wrapped up in a nifty final fight, before Buster wakes up and realizes it was all a dream. > Somewhere, Stan Lee is rolling over in his grave. He's probably chuckling, though. [JW] > A quite funny story.. I liked the ending particularly. Alas poor Hamton, will his kitchen ever be the same? [MattB] > A very good parody. Rather refreshing to see Hamton as a villain. Quite lively, and hopefully a sequel will be forthcoming. [Fox] What's the Point? Nick & Ben Distler (Nick2cool@AOL.com) Buster, Babs, Arnold, Plucky, Hamton, Shirley, Monty, Gogo Babs enters a video game competition that takes place literally all over the world. It looks like she is going to win, only to have Plucky beat here because he knows what all the cheat codes are. However, Plucky, acting foolishly, lets Babs claim the prize anyway, much to the maladjusted mallard's everlasting regret. When all is finished, Babs buys another video game... > Boring, I'm afraid. Babs as a video game whiz doesn't work for me. [Bauerle] > Awesome, man! PERFECTION! But then again, I wrote it, so this may be a little biased... [Nick] > A decent read, despite a little too much preoccupation with video games and not enough character development. [Nefaria] > Somehow this, in a way, reminded me of my little brother! He loves to play video games, and I could picture this happening! [Feder] > Alas, the title says it all. The competition just is not that compelling, and some parts just lie flat. [Fox] A Short, Short Story *by Kevin Mickel (HKUriah@AOL.com) Judge Wopper, Fifi, Hamton Not the story's real title, but this is how I refer to it and the name that I post it under. More of a single scene than a complete story, it is a about a very special day in the life of everyone's favorite purple skunkette, and the congratulations she receives from her Piggy boyfriend. > Well, Fifi fans will like it :^) [Bauerle] > I dunno, Fifi with Hamton just doesn't do anything for me. [Nefaria] > I'm getting sick and tired of any writer trying to put a skunk with a pig together. [Short] > A short, short comment: er ... *shrug* it does have potential for prequels (i. e., watching Fifi decide what to do, whether or not to go through with it). [Fox] The Quest by Nick Distler (Nick2cool@AOL.com) Buster, Babs, "Henry," Plucky, Calamity, A Horrible Monster, Shirley Acme Acres has been destroyed, apparently by some weird experiment of Babs's, and as far as he knows, Buster is the only Toonster left alive. He soon learns otherwise though, and sets out on a quest to find his friends. Eventually, his journeys take him to Wackyland, where after meeting up with Plucky, Calamity and Shirley, they figure out that the only way to set things right is to kill Babs! Buster must then decide if he will do what it necessary to save all of Toondom from utter destruction. In the end, he does what he has to do. > Everyone tells me that it's... "different". Well, as the Arby's commercial says, "Different is Good!" [Nick] > I guess I can only say is that its...um....bizarre. [Cooke] > I confess that I have only read the first chapter, but it starts out very weird. I like weird. [Nefaria] > Very wierd indeed.. a mite too surreal for my tastes. [MattB] > Quite nice, very interesting how the destruction of Acme Acres is played out. Nice work with the varying time viewpoints. Not quite as good as Mr. Bermann's 'Bugsnapped!' series, but what can compare, really? [Fox] Heart And Star by Kevin Pezzano (kokopelli@mindspring.com) [Please note the e-mail address given here. This is where the author may be reached. The one in the story itself is obsolete.] An unnamed (live action) Human male, Baby Babs Bunny A series of "slice of life," vignettes about a Human who has adopted an abandoned baby Toon rabbit named Babs. We see how the Human came to adopt Babs, name her Barbara Anne, feed her breakfast, get in a snowball fight with her, and drive her to the mall. So far that's it. According to the author it is "unfinished." I for one hope for more of it someday soon. > I'm actually happy with it as it is. I can view it as an "alternate reality" story ala Roger Rabbit or some junk. There was talk on a.t.tt about a darker sequel involving the man giving her up, etc., and I'd rather just leave it as is. If only _real_ babies were this adorable (all the time :^)) I'd be more inclined to want one of my own... [Bauerle] > A definite must for fans of Baby Babs. She's just so cuddly, trying to learn the basics of life at such a tender age, and playfully turning her new daddy from a curmudgeon into a nice guy. Wish it had been finished. [Nefaria] > Interesting slant on an idea. Are there any other stories dealing with RAISING furries, rather than, um... mating with them??? [KeV] > I just wish there were more parts to this. Very interesting to watch a yount 'toon rabbit, especially Babs, growing up, and how a 'real' human would cope. [Fox] Welcome Back! Colin Feder (Colin@toonzone.net ) Babs Mom, Babs, Buster, Plucky, Mortimer, Hamton, Richie Rabbit, Yosemite Sam, Elmyra, Bugs, Roddy Rat, Shirley, Granny, Fifi, Buster's Guardian Bunny, L'il Sneezer, Porky, Plucky's "Dream Girl" from SBS. Who is Richie Rabbit, and why is he kissing Babs Bunny? This question provides the framework for the whole story. Summer vacation has ended, (not the summer in HISMV) and the Toonsters return for their final year at Acme Loo. Almost at once, newcomer Richie Rabbit arrives and begins to try and steal Babs away from Buster. In fact, he temporarily succeeds. Unfortunately for him, Buster's Guardian Bunny helps Buster to learn who and what he really is, a spy from Perfecto Prep! Once Richie is exposed, Buster and Babs patch things up, Plucky seems to be making progress with Shirley, after a brief interlude with his "Dream Date Girl" from last Spring Break, and Hamton and Fifi are planning to go see a movie. > A pretty good story. One complaint: there were too many references to'Power Rangers' that seemed out of place. Waiting for a sequal. [Cooke] > Didn't like it. Buster calling Babs "whore", etc. was _way_ out of character. [Bauerle] > The 'getting Babs pregnant' subplot was *WAAAY* below the belt! [KeV] > Sorry about all the MMPR references. But, as I explained, when writing this story I was incredibly ill...I liked power Rangers(this was extremely short lived, and will not appear in Batduck Forever!) As for a sequel, I didn't really plan for one, but I'll see what happens, a sequel just may be possible. Once I finish Batduck, I'm considering writing a Lil Sneezer adventure, or at least to co-ordinate a group story on Prodigy. [Feder] > Started out quite good, but Buster just lost it after a while. Fell out of favour pretty fast. [MattB] Snow Loon Colin Feder (Colin@toonzone.net ) Elmyra, Buster, Shirley, Plucky, Monty, Hamton, Calamity, Gogo, Little Beeper, Concord, Arnold, Babs, Vinny the Deer A TTA retelling of the classic tale of Snow White, with Shirley the Loon in the Title Role. The plot storyline pretty much follows the classic tale's, but with a lot of TTA humor thrown in for good measure. > Not bad for a short, although again, it's a parody, which I'm not generally fond of. Interesting which characters he used to fill the roles. [Nefaria] > Pity that the Disney version wasn't ridiculed more, but still cool! [KeV] > Maybe I'm just in a crummy mood due to my work situation, but it didn't do much for me. When the queen turned into Babs I got interested, but basically the story was just a rehash of Snow White with the TTA characters inserted into it. [Bauerle] > Sorry, didn't like it. It seemed a bit shallow for me. I liked the dwarves idea though, although for a while, I must admit, I thought Money was Plucky! [MattB] > Unfortunately, this is as bad as 'The Toony King'. It was somewhat difficult to guess the 'dwarves' at first, especially 'Strong' (I thought it was Dizzy ... ). Also, the general 'Eeh, this happens, that happens, this person says this' sort of general toss- about styling seemed rather ... 'ungripping. I [was] in a state of un-grippedness.', to quote Dave Lister (Red Dwarf). [Fox] The Easter Bunny Conspiracy by Benjamin Fox (e-mail unknown) Buster, Babs, Henry the Easter Bunny's assistant, The Easter Bunny, Plucky. Buster and Babs uncover a plot by the Easter Bunny to steal holiday funds. The EB is convicted and removed from office. Now a real problem exists, it's the day before Easter! Babs agrees to temporarily fill in for the EB, and is magically transformed into the famous holiday rabbit. Unfortunately, some trouble occurs when she is changed back to Babs, Buster accidently gets transformed to the EB himself. Only some quick thinking by Babs and Henry can get him back to his normal blue eared self. > Too short, not enough plot. Once it got going, it came to an abrupt stop. Also, Plucky...with a lisp? I know Plucky sprays some spittle when he talks but he doesn't have a lisp. I'd like to see this story updated with more of a plot addition. [Feder] > Didn't do much for me. Not really enough material for TTA-worthy gags. [Bauerle] > Pretty good story, but a bit thin. Could have done with a longer story [MattB] TERROR TOON'S ADVENTURE by Anthony Barnett (TBARNETT@INTERACCESS.COM) Shirley, Babs, Fifi, Bugs, Mr. Dru, Plucky, Hamton, Buster, Sweetie, Mary Melody, Pepe Le Pew There is a new teacher at Acme Loo named Mr. Dru. Everybody thinks he's great, except for Shirley the Loon, who thinks there's something creepy about him. As it turns out, she is right, Dru is an old time Toon who should have faded away long ago but has kept himself self alive by draining away the power and vitality of younger Toons. His latest target; Acme Acres and the cast of Tiny Toon Adventures. Dru has to get Shirley out of the way, as her powers are a threat to him. Once she is missing, the other Toonsters look for her only to be captured by Dru as well. Fortunately, Shirley had talked about her feelings of dread about Dru with Bugs Bunny, so he's been watching the newcomer. With a little help from Pepe Le Pew, they free the Toonsters who then destroy Dru, but where they in time to save Shirley? Only a seance will tell. > Overall good story, but the spelling mistakes were too much! One that really sticks out is the misspelling of Hamton. Also, I can't picture Hamton as a troublemaker. He's too much of a goody-two- shoes. [Feder] > Delightful turn of events, sending Shirley into the hero's role. The villain is quite mean, and the threat of death is very real. I like this kind of story; we see new sides of our favorite characters when they're faced with serious drama like this. [Nefaria] > Nice to have a Shirley story! Got a little too sci-fi for the toons IMO :) [KeV] > A very good story. I like the idea of an identifiable bad guy, with Dru filling the role well. I think TTA would have been better with a definate "bad" guy/girl in it. I mean, there is Monty, but he isn't bad enough,But I digress. Like I said, a good story. [MattB] > Unlike 'Snow Loon', this one actually uses Shirley (my least favoured TTA female *shrug*) to good effect. Mainly, I agree with Nefaria's assesment. [Fox] But I Won't Do That by David M. Hungerford III (invertd@primenet.com) Babs, Buster, Plucky, Shirley, Babs Mom, Fifi, Hamton, Babs Dad Buster goes over to Babs place to play video games. After they finish, they start to playfully wrestle with one another. One thing leads to another, and before long, nothing happens. It almost does, but the two bunnies decide that they are not yet ready to do, "THAT." Once the decision is made, Buster and Babs have to decide what almost happened means to them and to their relationship. They have a little help from Plucky, who makes the mistake of eavesdropping on their conversation, and after going to a movie together, they realize that they've got something special going, and that it can only get better. > I loved the stry. I was drinking a soda when I read it and almost enacted the Hampton milk thru the nose take from the Pluck & Buster duel. [KMats] > I can't really offer an objective opinion on this one since it was the story that led to the shattering of my Babs fantasy almost 17 months ago. While that has led (and will hopefully continue to lead) to some positive changes in my life, I wouldn't wish the mental anguish I went through in the process on my worst enemy. But I digress... All I'll say about the story is that it seemed too "real world" to me - if that's the kind of sexual temptation couples go through, I'll probably continue to cop out with "I don't need friends, I've got a computer!" and skip the social life. Not enough toon/TTA gags in it [Bauerle] > A thoughtful little tale about what might happen if the toons' hormones kept growing as they do in humans during adolescence. The characters are very on-target with their actions and reactions. This one seems to grow on me over time. [Nefaria] > I have always liked this story. It's not really played for laughs, and I suppose it could be said to have a high 'feel-good' factor. An excellent anti-'A Night in Babs' Room' story :) Read if you're feeling depressed, and lonely! [KeV] > Too reactionary. If I need to be preached to, I can go to church. That's not what TTA is about. [Mikote] > I liked this story, if only it was longer! Much better than 'A night in Babs' room' or whatever it's called. The idea of Buster and Babs getting it on doesn't do a thing for me, so that is why I prefered this story. [MattB] Toon Trek: The Next Generation Encounter at Wayouttharpoint Kevin J. Podsiadlik (kjpodsia@cyberramp.net) Buster, Hamton, Dizzy, Fifi, Shirley, Daffy, Plucky, Calamity, Little Beeper, Elmyra, Babs. Mortimer, Furball A TTA retelling of the pilot episode of Star Trek The Next Generation's pilot episode, Encounter at Farpoint. Daffy Duck takes on the part of Q, he goes by D in the story, and the Toonsters take on the roles of the crew of the Enterprise. The plot closely follows that of the novelization of that episode, but there are still a few surprises and it's a lot of fun. I only wonder if the author will ever do any more stories? > For some reason I just couldn't get into it. I'd have to reread it to see why; maybe because it was written before the show even aired and thus the characters aren't done "right"? [Bauerle] > The best Trek parody I've ever encountered, in any medium [JW] > Yep, another parody, but it's got some bite and some wit. I liked the ensuing chaos, but the toons weren't made to act roles, they were made to live them, and in this one they weren't alive [Nefaria] > Do you like Star Trek? I don't. [KeV] > It was kinda funny, but I don't know, there was something about it that didn't appeal to me. I can't quite put my finger on it. And Furball with a voice? No, thanks. [MattB] > My only problem here is that Fifi has the role of Tasha Yar, and if future episodes follow the episodes of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' ... let's just say I would rather see more of Fifi in works. Then again, considering all of how tangled Yar's timeline is, one wonders just what could be in store for TTA's favourite mustelid. [Fox] Acme Acres County Fair by Robert Chirico (rchirico@venus.net) Plucky, Buster, Fowlmouth, Shirley, Hamton, the Dream Girl from SBS. Plucky is despondent over his lack of success with Shirley, so he decides to pass the day at the County Fair, having fun with Hamton. Shirley meanwhile has set up a gypsy tent at the fair and is being pestered by Fowlmouth. Finally in a desperate ploy to get rid of him, she tells him she has a date with Plucky. He takes the news surprisingly well, and finally leaves. Meanwhile, after going on an interesting ride with Hamton, Plucky runs into Fowlmouth who congratulates him on his success with Shirley. More than a little confused, Plucky makes his way over to her tent, and the two of them spend some time together, apparently laying the foundation for many things to come. > I didn't like this one. The story leaves lots to be desired and doesn't explore the Shirley/Plucky enough. {Nick] > After you recover from the shock of Fowlmouth's swearing not being covered up by 'Bleeps' or 'Dadgum', you realize just how short and incomplete this is! [Cooke] > Short but not bad, it was fun to see an uncensored Fowlmouth. Seems like the author bailed out on it. [Nefaria] > Started off well enough, but it seems that the author got halfway, got bored with the story, and gave up. I was reading, and suddenly came to the end. It left me thinking, "Is that it?" [MattB] Plucky's Big Day By Bridgette Berry (Valid E-mail address unavailable) Toddler versions of Plucky, Buster and Babs, as well as Plucky's little sister Patricia and everyone's respective parents. This story covers the first five years in the life of Plucky Duck. We see how he meets Buster, has some fun with Babs and an elevator at the Acme Mall, and finally gets the part of sidekick on Buster and Babs new show, Tiny Toon Adventures. Even as a little kid, Plucky just can't win. > This story didn't go for funny gags, instead it goes for smiles, and it succeeds, but it doesn't explain what happened to Trish once the series started. [Cooke] > Dull, even with Baby Babs. Reads like a lame episode of Muppet Babies. Used. [Bauerle] > Has that 'primer' feel to it, alas. Someone compared it to 'Muppet Babies', but it lacks that series's plot. Again, whatever happened to Trish? This might be something future writers would like. Also, a minor incontinuity, that of 'Tiny Toons Adventures' starting with a five-year-old cast. [Fox] The Toony King Jon Cooke (cooke@megalink.net) Buster, Wile E. Coyote, Bugs, Daffy, Taz, Babs, Tweety, Wakko, Dot, Yakko, Barky Marky, Rocky and Mugsy As the name implies, this is a TTA spoof of The Lion King. Daffy attempts to usurp Bugs Bunny's place at the top of the WB cartoon universe by tricking Buster into thinking that he has killed Bugs. Of course, since Warner Toons are pretty much impossible to kill, it is a lie, so Daffy has to imprison Bugs in a place he'll never get out of, the water tower inhabited by Yakko, Wakko and Dot! Needless to say, Daffy's plans ultimately fail, and Buster is left wondering just what his own fate will be. > Not bad; the stampede scene made me laugh (Spielberg!). But wouldn't a better torture have been the Slap-Happy Stanley toons? :^) Probably one that I'll keep but not reread very often (if ever) [Bauerle] > This one made me laugh quite a bit, but the story could have done with more. [MattB] > Buster seems to assume too much of a 'heartless bastard' role when dealing with the 'has-beens', and overall, I think Jonathan Woodward wrote a better 'The Lion King' parody. [Fox] > The Lion King was always one of my favorite movies. While I can't say this is one of my favorite stories, it certainly has it's merits. One of my personal favorite parts was when Bugs himself was captured and 'tortured'. The story in particular may not be in my top ten, but it's a decent all around funny story. [Leloni] Pluck Amuck *by Kevin Mickel (HKUriah@AOL.com) Plucky, Buster, The "Mystery Animator" No, I am not going to tell you who is tormenting Plucky in this little story of mine that is inspired by the Chuck Jones masterpiece, "Duck Amuck." I will tell you though that Plucky is not very happy as he works on what was supposed to be his project. > A great tribute to "Duck Amuck"! Will we see one with Buster in the role of Bugs from "Rabbit Rampage" soon? (Yes, I am one of the few people who enjoyed "Rabbit Rampage"..........) [Cooke] > I'm reminded of "The Never-ending Story Part 2": the final line to the villain was worth sitting through the rest of the movie. That didn't come out right though: "TNESP2" was a lame movie but this was an OK read; however, in both the end was the best part. [Bauerle] > A hoot. Could have done with more bad stuff happening to Plucky, but other than that, a laugh riot. If only it was longer [MattB] > I thought it was RIGHT ON, quite funny, and no, I didn't guess the ending! A labor of love! --Joe Alaskey, voice of Plucky Duck. > True to the humiliation suffered by his mentor, Daffy Duck, Plucky is forced into the role of the fool in this comical retelling of the classic. That's not to say his tormentor is a rabbit. Oh no, Kevin gives us a more creative and humorous story of the duck's struggle with an unseen enemy. Who could it be? Rivals by KeV Beeley (kev@faboo.demon.co.uk) Buster, Babs, Emily Bunny, Shirley, Fifi, Babs's Mom, Go-Go Plucky, Hamton, Calamity, Eric Special Note: There are two versions of this story. The latest one is version 1.1, which is the one on my homepage. It seems that Babs's little sister Emily has a crush on Buster. After catching her eavesdropping on her and Buster, again, Babs begins to become somewhat angry with her younger sister. Buster, oblivious as usual, has no idea that Emily is interested in him, but Babs is still jealous. Several attempts are made to find Emily a more suitable boyfriend, including an instructional course in boy catching taught by Fifi LaFume. When the gang convenes at Weenie Burgers, a young rabbit named Eric, who happens to be nuts about Emily, shows up, and Buster quickly set the two of them up. Scenes follow at the Acme Gigaplex and the bowling alley, where all sorts of weird things happen as Emily tries to capture the Rabbit of her Dreams and as Babs nearly destroys her for going after Buster, who just wants to bowl. In the end everything works out okay, and who knows, maybe we'll see Eric and Emily again sometime. > I'm glad for the happy conclusion... it was nice to see an "everyman" character like him (Eric) win in the end.... I could've lived without the smirky TTBS references that treated ANiBR as canon, but they weren't critical to the story and I was able to eventually mentally retcon them out.... Even though the spelling was American, there were still a few "English-isms" in there that might warrant changing: "knocked for six", "down the baths", "quiff", "prop-up", "shooting through", and "lent" as past tense of "lean" (reminded me of the supper I haven't et yet :^)) And I didn't get the Krusty Burger bit - was that a Simpsons reference, or some other inside joke? [Bauerle] > Hey, I tried my best to make the story sound American! It's *gotta* better than writing it like... "Oh gosh, Buster! I've been have simpmly the most mah-vellous dreams the past few nights, don't you know...." "Ra-ther, my dear sweet 'petit-lapin'" etc etc ad nauseum! >:) [KeV] > An excellent story, one of the better ones I have read. Still, the idea of a madly jealous Babs doesn't really cut it with me. [MattB] > Full of wonderfully distinctive characters and breezy emotion, this story is one of the best to read. Great fun watching the toonsters get pulled in all sorts of unusual romantical directions, like an insanely jealous Babs and apparently love-starved Plucky. And the accompanying art is gorgeous too. [Nefaria] > In my honest opinion, Eric Bunny wasn't all that necessary to this, as I am quite sure Calamity has enough potential to pull it off. Also, more of Calamity's infatuation could have been explored. On an unrelated note, the scene at the end does lead somewhat into 'Babs-a-maniacs!' [Fox] > I do like KeV's writing style. Yet, this story didn't quite work for me. Babs getting *THAT* upset at her own sibling seems too out of character for her. I could see her seeking revenge on Emily, but not exploding over the issue. [Nefaria] Out of the Tower and Out Of Their Minds by Karen Tindall (Valid E-mail unknown) Dr. Scratchansniff, Dot,Yakko, Wakko, Mr. Plotz, Ralph, Dracula, Hello Nurse, A Disneyesque Rabbit, Sid Squid, Slappy, Skippy, The Brain, Pinky, Babs, Buster, Elmyra, Karen Tindall, Shirley, Plucky, Dizzy, Fifi, Monty, Gogo, Hamton, "Honey." Note that this is just a list of characters who play an important role in the development of the story. Many others appear in cameo roles. This epic adventure begins when Mr. Plotz enlists the aide of Yakko, Wakko and Dot to find an important script that has been stolen. The kids agree to help him, but unknown to them, the story is a giant ruse, designed to keep them from disrupting an important party that Plotz is throwing. Unknown to Plotz however, the script really has been stolen, and the Warner Siblings are hot on the trail of the thieves. A series of adventures takes place on various parts of the studio lot, and the entire time they have to avoid Ralph, who is intent upon capturing them. Eventually they do track down the crooks, who turn out to be Pinky and Brain, who had stolen it as part of an elaborate attempt to take over the world. Upon returning the script to Plotz, the Warner's are allowed to attend the party in question, which is just loaded with celebrity cameos. In fact, the party chapter, number eight, is actually entitled "Cameos." After this the kids go home to the Water Tower for a well earned rest. Still, that's not the end. Starting with chapter nine, the Warners head for Acme Acres for a series of adventures with the Tiny Toons gang. The action centers around three main events, an eating contest between Dizzy Devil and Wakko, which Monty tries to rig, a day-trip to Wackyland, and a sub-plot about who is going to go with whom to the upcoming dance at the Loo. There are a few surprises in that one, and in the end as Yakko, Wakko and Dot head back to the Watertower after so many momentous occurances we can rest assured that some things will never change. > My only negative comment is that this is less of a Tiny Toons work than it is of the Animaniacs, as the focus is mainly on the Warner siblings Players of the Super Nintendo game 'Animaniacs' will recognize the plot in the first 5-7 chapters, and several scenes. The touch about Wakko's weaknesses was nice, though. [Fox] > Although a really long story, it's well worth the read. The cameo chapter was too funny, not to mention some of the antics in Acme Acres. You won't believe who Dot's date ends up being! [Leloni] Related Artwork: mont2_o.jpg Dizzy burps at Wakko while Plucky and Monty fight over a bag of money. Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Someone Blue by Matt Bermann (pluck@ihug.co.nz) Buster, Elmer Fudd, Shirley, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Bugs, Fifi, Foghorn Leghorn, Slyvester, Porky, Dizzy This is an unofficial, but still endorsed, follow-up to my own "Buster & Babs Trilogy." In it, Buster is having trouble dealing with the recent revelation that was made public in "And That's A Wrap!" and Babs, in part because of Buster's strange behavior, begins to wonder if she really loves him. Buster, distressed at the thought of losing Babs, winds up taking some desparte action, which I won't even think about revealing here. However, the Bunnies, no relation yet, come to realize just how much they do love each other, and everything works out okay in the end. > I felt that the situation at the end of 'And That's a Wrap!' would have far reaching consequences, so that is what I have tried to convey here. Some might think that I have taken it too far, but just put yourself in Buster's position, and think about it. Remember, love is a powerful emotion! [MattB] > Great Story! A wonderful followup to the B&B Trilogy! I was moved to tears when Buster (took his desparate action)... not something you wanna read before leaving for school in the morning like I did! [Feder] > Well, let's see, where to start? Neither Buster's paranoia (for lack of a better term) nor Babs's reaction to it were that well- developed- both seemed to come out of the blue (er, no pun intended...) Bugs's dialogue/accent didn't quite work for me, but I'm not sure how to suggest improving it. Finally, I could have lived without the swearing, "mild" as it was... Conclusion: I'll probably go ahead and keep it, but I don't ever expect to reread it. [Bauerle] > My only problem with this story is that typing the title is a pain. A very good follow-up to 'The Buster and Babs Trilogy', and faithful to its style. Also quite touching, in its own way. [Fox] Related Artwork: mont2_b.jpg Drawn by Thorne. What's Up, Duck? by Nathan East (ne15328@conrad.appstate.edu) Bugs, Plucky, Shirley, Calamity, Buster, Babs, Emily, Eric, Monty, Donald Duck, Huey Dewey & Louie. Plucky has decided that he must rule the world, and so he, with the help of Calamity, kidnapps Bugs so that he can do this. He offers to make Shirley his Queen, but not only does she turn him down, she tells Buster and Babs what the maladjusted mallard is up to. The two rabbits set off to rescue Bugs, and along the way they are joined by Eric and Emily from KeV Beeley's "Rivals" story. The two younger rabbits have apparently matured a bit since that story and prove to be an invaluable aide. Emily is rather creative in the way she takes out Monty, making use of the Elmyra costume that Babs wore in BGTUR. Eric too is more assertive this time around. When he learns that Calamity has less than honorable intentions towards Emily, apparently he's never forgiven her for ignoring him in :"Rivals," Eric defends her most convincingly. While all that is going on, Buster and Babs rescue Bugs, who comes up with a rather ingenious way to punish Plucky for his evil deeds. > This story is nowhere nearly as well-crafted or well-polished as any of the other stories listed. Plucky's scheme is far too 'diabolical', even for him, and apparently the author was more interested in writing the 'action' scenes, as these are too plentiful. [Fox] > For the most part, it's a good story. Unfortunately, Calamity's intentions towards Emily seemed a bit out of character for him. As the description suggests, Bugs did indeed come up with a creative punishment for Plucky. Unfortunately, this future is not a very happy place. It seems that Buster's "death" as everyone assumed that he had been killed in the accident, had a very negative effect on everyone in Acme Acres, and even the city itself, including the Loo, was thrown into a long decline as a result of the tragedy. Buster however, is able to figure out what's going on, and in an attempt to get home and set things right, he contacts first Plucky, then Yakko, Wakko and Dot, then Babs, and finally Bugs, all of whom have been effected in different, but still negative ways by what they thought was his death. Buster then sets off to Wackyland to get what he needs to get home, and while there, he comes to realize that reality is starting to unravel because of his travels through time. While in Wackyland, he meets up with a strange creature who helps him rebuild Calamity's time machine, and in just the nick of time, he goes home. As a result, everything is back to normal now, but not without the addition of the obligatory paradox that no time travel story should be without. > This worked for me. The characterizations seemed fairly well done, and the bit with Plucky was a nice touch. I did have a few problems with it though; 1. I prefer to follow the Roger Rabbit (the movie, not the a.t.tt kook) theory that you can't kill a toon (except with Dip); thus the bits with Calamity being killed and Bugs being blinded were a bit hard to swallow. 2. Having the Warners guest-appear didn't do much for me. 3. The "creature" from Wackyland was a bit of a deus ex machina - I don't know if there would've been another way to end it or not though... [Bauerle] > I do agree the 'entity' is a deus ex machina, and I do wish the author had described it in more detail -- who or what it was, why it knows, etc. [Fox] > A definite must read! Matt does a great job with the future characterization of the toons. He also puts together the "past" so completely that you'd almost believe that's what really happened. Sound like fun? Put Babs behind the wheel of a HumVee, and things really start to get interesting. Now, all these years later, its location has been figured out by none other than Montana Max, who decides he must have it so that he can be in total control of Acme Acres. Bugs learns of this, and also figuring out where the Deed is, he takes steps to recover it before Monty can get his hands on it. He sends Buster, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Shirley and Fifi on a quest to regain it, while Monty sets out on his own to do the same, aided by Elmyra and Dizzy. To make matters worse, Roddy Rat and some of his Perfecto associates are also involved in the race. After many interesting hijinks, all three groups arrive at where the Deed is, but before they can claim it, they have to get passed, The Guardian, a powerful being who has guarded the Deed for all these many years. In order to determine who is worthy of the Deed, the Guardian forces Roddy, Monty and Buster to face their greatest fears, and only Buster can do it. At this point it should be mentioned that the Deed is actually a living Toon, and that while Buster has passed the tests, things now begin to get really complicated. Still, an interesting twist wraps the story up, and things can get back to normal again in Acme Acres, sort of. You see, the Guardian is a really manly skunk, and well, Fifi has seen him and... > Very good writing, and quite 'gripping', although one scene seems to leave out something (Alex and Buster, during the 'tests'). Curious things are learned about Buster and Plucky, but when Fifi asks to look in on Alex Redolence, aka The Guardian from the previous story, things get a bit complicated. The next morning, The Deed tries to convince Alex that he is bored and that he should get out more and see more of Acme Acres. Meanwhile, over at Acme Loo, a new group of transfer students has just arrived, including a rather pretty young fox named Camry Curvaceous. Both Hamton and Plucky are quite taken with her, but unfortunately for Buster, she happens to be in the group that the little blue rabbit has to guide through the Loo. While Buster worries about how to avoid being seen by Babs with the cute fox on his arm, she and Shirley are trying to figure out some way to get Alex to come to the Loo so they can set him up to meet Fifi. Rather conveniently, there is a dance coming up, so the wheels begin to turn. Quite a bit of hilarity ensues as preparations are made, including a confrontation between Plucky and Fowlmouth over who gets to go with Shirley, and a rather curious instructional session that Babs and Shirley give to Fifi on how to get guys. (Yes, you read that correctly. No, I'm not gonna explain it.) Anyway, things shift to Weenie Burger, where some curious things involving Camry, Elmyra and Alex all take place, which somehow slides into a party at Hamton's house, where, much to Monty's regret, Elmyra had a great time. Things finally shift to the big dance and the Loo, but just to make things interesting, it turns out that Camry is actually the villain of the story, and she kidnaps Babs, Shirley and Fifi as they head for the gathering. Rescues are made, and then things start to get weird. The long drawn out ending is well, indescribable. It seems that the author couldn't decide how to end the story, and that in a way, became the ending. In the end, a conclusion is reached, sort of. > Alas, Alex here is on a decline. While the introduction of Camry Curvaceous (sp?) was not bad, Alex was just a bit too 'chummy'. This Alex is not the one we met in 'Legend ... '. Dot, upon realizing who Sailor Moon is, proceeds to introduce her own group of Sailor Scouts to her. All of this things add up to one thing, Sailor Moon being so perturbed that runs away as fast as she can! > Not a bad setup. Makes me wish I saw more of 'Sailor Moon'. Babs-A-Maniacs by Beth Ann Bryant (bbryant@rio.com) Babs, Steven Spielberg, Tom Ruegger, Skippy Squirrel, BlueBird, Greg Reyna, Andrea Romano Is it Tiny Toons, or is it Animaniacs? Well, both. This is the story of how Babs Bunny got a continuing roll as a minor character on Animaniacs. It seems that she is rather bored since the ending of Tiny Toons, so she heads over to see Mr. Spielberg to ask him for a part on his new show. Strangely enough, Steven comes up with an interesting idea, maybe Babs could play the part of Katie KaBoom! Babs jumps at the chance, and really puts her all into the part, and we learn that Babs had a lot to do with the characters development. The story ends with a cliff hanger of sorts, leaving us wondering just how everyone's favorite pink bunny pulled that one off. > Nice story; Liked the way that Tiny Toons and Animaniacs got tied together. And you can't tell the author has an affinity with both the characters used :) [KeV] > A rather nice short story dealing with the 'unemployment' of Babs. Things get a bit more complicated when newcomer and nephew to a certain French skunk on the faculty, Brad Le Pew arrives at the old Looniversity. Not only does he decided to run for President, but he also seems to be interested in Fifi, much to Hamton's irritation. Anyway, Brad wins the election, and Monty, in a fit of rage, hypnotizes Hamton and has him go after Fifi to get at Brad. It all winds up in court, where Brad proves that it is Monty who is responsible for Hamton's recent actions. That ends this story, but a very large thread is left hanging, suggesting that there may be a follow up to this some day. > Why do people seem to like the idea of _this_ type of physical violence between the toons? [KeV] > More disjointedness. Different author than 'AbDuckTed' and 'Up the Duff' (apologies to Mr Formosa), but unlike those two ... there is less plot and dialogue continuity here. [Fox] Jolly Mon Sing by Dusty Patcher (halfnote@otherside.com) Babs, Buster, James Duffy (The Jolly Mon), Nordstrom, Capiam, Marcus Duffy. Taken from the author's introduction, which I quote purely out of vanity. ONE last thing (then I'll shut up *cheering sound*) This takes place as a kind of after-story to Kevin Mickel's What's in a Name? and That's a Wrap. It takes place on Buster and Bab's honeymoon (No, it is NOT that type of story, pervert!) Okay, as the author tells us, this is the story of Buster & Babs on their honeymoon, which they are taking somewhere in the tropics. While there, they meet up with who the natives call, The Jooly Mon, but his real name is James Duffy. Unfortunately for the bunnies, who are now related, someone is trying to kill there new friend, so they have to spend their honeymoon protecting and rescuing him from harm. They also let the author know that they are not happy about having to do this, so in the end, he makes it up to them in his own, interesting, way. > Heh! Not knowing anything about what this story was going on about, I can't really offer any comments as such! Think I got about 40% of the way through before I was so hopelessly lost I gave up! ;) [Kev] >A fair attempt. Sorry about the 'hanging judge' attitude with these most recent works, but again, this one just didn't do anything for me. Well, this story is the answer. In other words, this is a TTA spoof of Space Ghost. In it, Space Duck, (Plucky) is despondent over the fact that his girlfriend has dumped him. This gloom carries over into his interviews with Red Head (Elmyra) and Star Girl (Babs) Finally, Babs has enough of it and tell him off in a well done final oration. It's summer time in Acme Acres, and the Toonsters need something to do to keep them busy while the Loo is out of session. That something turns out to forming a rock band that is called, "The Acmes." Auditons are held, but not without some confusion. It seems that Hamton's talents are better suited to a country band, and Plucky has a real problem with Fifi playing the drums, as he is convinced that only a guy can play them right. Plucky soon learns otherwise, and the band is formed. They are fairly sucsessful and eventually go on a world tour, including a stop in Paris, where something special happens for Fifi. Eventually, summer ends, and the band disbands, but a reunion is not beyond the realm of possiblity. > A change of pace, one could say. Refreshingly light, and it was nice to see Fifi at work. To pass the time, he heads over to Weenie Burger and meets up with Plucky and Shirley, who invite him to come to a party they are going to. Problemis that the party's not for a while yet, and Plucky and Shirley want to go for a walk in the park first. This leaves Buster alone at the burger place, where, as luck would have it, Fifi is moping over being dumped by yet another "skunk hunk." He attempts to cheer her up by inviting her to come to the party with him as a friend. Things at the party go well, for everyone, sorta, but then Monty goes and spikes the punch, and not with a railroad tie. Buster and Fifi have a little bit too much of the stuff, and things become very interesting, creating more than a little bit of awkwardness for the two of them. In the end, they sort it out, and Fifi decides that she will explain things to Babs personally. Babs handels it supprisingly well, allowing for things to get back to normal again. > Interesting. After Fifi has a very bad dream, we see that the villian from Jeremy's previous story, Camry Curvaceous, is still plotting to take over Acme Acres. This time, using some knowledge she has of Fifi's past, she plans to eliminate the skunkette first, making it easier to move on from there. Meanwhile, Alex, Buster, Hamton, Plucky, are busy skiing in the French Alps. After sending the Toonsters home to Acme Acres so they aren't late for class, he goes to check out a strange something about everyone's favorite purple skunkette. After a rather hillarious classroom session taught by Marvin Martian, Fifi is called to Bugs Buuny's office, where a shock is in store for her. Waiting in the office are Andre and Nadeline, Fifi's parents, and her younger sister, Mimi. The joy at seeing her parents, and the consternation at seeing her sister, is quickly forgetten when Fifi learns why her family has come to America, they have brought with them Jean Pathos, the one to whom Fifi was arrainged to be married many years before and is apparently not dead as everyone had thiought. In a very clever, well done, and funny flashback, we learn many details of Fifi's early life. We see how Mimi maybe her twin sister, but they are by no means identical. We also see that Jean is not someone who would have been a loving husband and learn how and why Fifi came to study in America at Acme Loo. At that point, the plot begins to thicken. It seems it Camry who is somehow behind the arrival of Jean Pathos in Acme Acres, who is now convinced that claiming his once promised bride would be a good thing, as she is now famous. However, just as the plot begins to thicken, a very wierd innterlude takes place, and that's all I'm gonna say about it. Getting back to the story, there is a dramatic confrontation between Buster, Babs, Plucky and Shirley on the one hand, and the evil Camry on the other. Among many other things, she reveals that she too wants Alex for herself, and that is why she has gone to so much trouble to get rid of Fifi. Fifi, BTW, despondent over these developments has to be talked off of Lover's Leap. Once that is done, the week passes quickly and it is time for Fifi and Jean's weding, not a happy occasion at all. No one wants to see Fifi go through with this, but no one knows how to stop it, and Fifi, for the sake of her family's honor, doesn't want them to. So it is now up to Alex to return to save the day, and Fifi's future by revealing how this is all a plot of Camry's and the details of how it worked. So, Fifi doens't need to marry Jean, but well, she is in a wedding dress, sort of, and Alex is there and... > Another sequel in the 'Legend' line. Unfortunately, Alex is characterised even worse here. I do not see the Guardian of the Deed as someone who would go on a ski-trip with Buster and company. Camry makes another good effort at villainy, but Alex once more acts as a 'deus ex machina'. And the closing scene is quite disappointing. What we have here is an interesting Quantum Leap/Tiny Toon Advenrtures crossover. Sam Beckett has leaped into Buster, who is the star of a new cartoon show called, "The Buster Bunny Show" which is doomed to failure. The story tells the tale of how Sam was able to transform this flop into the hugely successful "Steven Spielberg Presents Tiny Toon Adventures." A quick series of snippets sets the stage for this transformation. He get's Babs a job on the show, helps shape Arnold's personality, gets Bugs to help him, and finally manages to impress Steven enough to get involved. That accomplished, Sam leaps, and another adventure is about to begin. > A very interesting look at how 'Tiny Toons Adventures' was formed. This is more of a 'reality' setting than within the show itself, and it is done well. Poor, poor Sam Becket. As you can probably guess from the title, this is a TTA parody of the TV show Seinfeld. It all starts with Buster's opening monologue at the Acme Comedy Club, then heads over to Monty's video store, where can't rent a movie because he still has an old one but Max isn't sure which one it was becasue it didn't have a label on it. Anyway, he can't rent the video on his own, so he asks Babs to help him rent it. We then move over Buster's place, where Plucky bursts in on him all distraught because Shirley has retreated into herself while trying to think up a new TV show and has told him that his aura is going dull. After Buster and Plucky discuss the problem a bit, the story shifts to Hamton's place, which he shares with Dizzy for an important plot development. Then Plucky has a conversation with his Boss. The Boss is worried about the state of Acme Acres baseball team, but Plucky isn't paying attention and instead uses his comments to think up ideas for a new TV show. Heading back to Buster's appartment, where Babs is distraught over the video she rented for Gogo, as he has not returned it, which leads into a curious flashback scene. And then Plucky shows up, and them the Bunnies realize they've got the video and need to return it and... Is this getting confusing? Anyway, after a very strange attempt to get the video to the store, we head over to Shirley's place where, after shooting down all of Plucky's ideas, she realizes he's a genius and we then... switching to the next scene see Buster and Babs hurrying to get to the video store. They get there in a typically tooney fashion and manage to return the video, only to be confronted by what appears to be some sort of Disney hit squad. No I'm not gonna explain it. Go read the story. It all ends at the Acme TV studio, where instead of pitching his idea, Plucky get's systematicly destroyed in a series of other new shows. Unfortunately for Plucky, as soon as he is Frizzed, a gust of wind carries away his ashes and scatters them all over Acme Acres, which is not a good thing for the mallajusted mallard. Fortunately, Shirley is able to contact Plucky's aura and keep it in focus while his ashes are hastily regathered before it's too late. Needless to say, he is rescued. From there, it gets rather complicated. This story, which is a bit long, is all but impossible to summarize in the usual manner. Suffice it to say that events in both the ACME Zone, and Acme Acres take on many interesting plot twists, as is evidenced in part the cast list. Before it's over, three tyrants are overthrown, a revolution takes place, Gremlins wreak havoc, and Monty reveals a secret, sort of. It is also a sequel to the author's previous "abDUCKed" story. After awakening from a really bad dream, we see Buster learn that Babs has been in a car accident. Other than the fact that she spends the rest of the story coughing up car parts, she's fine. Then Duckula arrives, and is quite obviously smitten with Shirley. We see the Toonsters go to their sewing class, and after some misadventures with a corset, they set to work on sewing together some pants. Then, quite unexpectedly, Plucky attacks Shirley, and after tying her up, proceeds to drag her away! She gets free though, and Plucky has to flee before she can do him serious harm. This leaves the girls to ponder the green duck's weird behaviour and the apparently strange persuasions of the stories writer. Then, Duckula appears. Plucky anvils him, Shirley gets angry, and Plucky and Duckula start a deul, with Shirley as the prize. The initial weapon? Harmonicas! After progressing through tap dancing, the acordian, and nitroglycerin, Duckula is victorious, leaving Plucky with only one chance, he must ask others for help. It is then that we learn why he is acting in such an odd fashion. He has learned that if Shirley ever kisses Duckula that it will be the end of her, and doom for all. So, after some odd twists, the Bunnies agree to help him. They head for Shirey's place, and Plucky, by placing his halo over her eggshell, manages to influence her into not kissing Duckula. Unfortunately, Shirley does not know why she has been so manipulated and is ready to squash him! But then the answer arrives. Realizing that Plucky was doing the right thing all along, the two of them head out on a date, and Shirley knows that Plucky is going to behave himself on it, as she has made sure that he can't talk. > Well, I do hope Mr Formosa does. Not a bad cross-over tale. There are some questionable features, including the time-travel save. A suggestion ... what if, when Shirley and Duckula kissed, Shirley's evil side manifested? Ducks Out of Luck *By Kevin Mickel (HKUriah@AOL.com) Gosalyn Mallard, Shirley, Plucky, Morgana (McCawber) Mallard, Drake (Darkwing Duck) Mallard, Magica De Spell, Launchpad McQuack, Beth (Webfoot) McQuack, Daffy, Donald Duck, Huey Dewey & Louie, $crooge McDuck. This story is a three way crossover between Tiny Toons, Darkwing Duck, and Uncle Scrooge comic books. Set in the future, Plucky and Shirley, who are now married, have moved to St. Canard to open a new satelite campus for Acme Loo there. Throw in Magica De Spell's latest attempt to steal Scrooge McDuck's Number One Dime, and you have the basis for this story. Told a series of "slice of life" vignettes, we get to see all the major players meet and get aquainted with each other, often with rather bizzare results. I'm going to forego the usual synopsis for this one, as to describe the events would be to tell them over again, and I'd rather not do that. > Another fine cross-over tale. It is curious to see just why a Saint Canard campus was set up, though. Ah, one wonders if the two studios' 'individual' styles would mix well, for if not, chaos might ensue. Then again, who am I to argue against chaos? [Fox] Related Artwork: mont3_u.jpg Morganna and Shirley play magical ping-pong as Drake and Plucky bet on the outcome. Once Around The Writer's Block... by Jerry D. Withers (jwithers@tcfn.org) Buster, Babs, Hareball, Plucky. Buster is bummed out about school. In fact, he's so bummed out, he doens't even know what day of the week it is. Once Babs sets him straight on that though, they can't decide what to do, becasue the days assigned fanfic writer, one "Hareball," seems to be suffering from writers block. Having nothing better to do, the Bunnies travel to Hareball's reality, and by giving him some good advice, and a good dosage of Acme Mega-Jolt coffee, he get's himself back on track. This allows him to get back on track, and no problems, except of course, the bill. > A pleasant look into what goes on in a typical author's mind and home. I see that the 'reality' view used is that of HKUriah from 'What's in a Name?', for what that is worth. [Fox] Related Artwork: mont3_r.jpg Drawn by Thorne. And now, for all those of you who've been chomping at the bit wondering, "What happens when Rubella finally shows up for her first day at Acme Loo?"... well, chomp no more. Let the show begin...) That pretty much explains what this is all about. Of course, along the way some of Rubella's old classmates take rather nasty umbrage that she is now a student at Acme Loo, Mary Melody returns to Acme Loo as a member of the faculty, Lola Bunny and Honey Bunny both make their TTA fanfic debutes, and there is a really neat basketball game near the end. It is also worth mentioning that Jerry continues his habit of utilizing other author's original characters with a great deal of success. > Excellent. A fitting end to the 'Rubella Cycle'. Fortunately for them, Ruby's mom has just installed a new swimming pool and it doesn't take long for the Toonsters to gather there for some aquatic fun. Unfortunately, the Rat's next door neighbors just happen to be Daffy and Daphne Duck, and Daffy does not take kindly to all the noise. As such he sets up a scheme to foil their fun, but is tricked into taking the brunt of it himself by Ruby, but only after she softened it up a bit. This story was written by one of the three girls who gave us "Buster & Babs Go Hawaiian." This story is Renee's accounting for how Lola Bunny is integrated into the Tiny Toons universe. Things get started when Bugs offers Lola a job at the Loo coaching the new basketball team. Buster decides to try out, much to Babs consternation as he is obviously captivated by the pretty Lola. Babs decided that the only way to keep an eye on Buster is to join the team as a bench warmer. Eventually, they work it out, but not before Hamton get's injured and Babs has to suddenly play in the game against Perfecto! Well, eventually she figures out the only way to win is to win Babs Bunny style, which she pulls of as only Babs Bunny can. Unbeknownst to Bugs, Buster and Honey Bunny were inspecting his plane, and he took off before they could disembark, so they are along for he adventure, as is Sam, who came with on purpose. This story introduces Willy Wolf, a shy young newcomer to Acme Looniversity. After some initial hesitancy on the part of the other Toonsters, Willy manages to make friends with them, but we soon learn that Willy has a few minor problems. To start with, both Shirley and Fifi are romanticly attracted to him, and being a shy wolf, that is not an easy thing to deal with. He also has a very, to him, irritating little brother, who's favorite pastime is biting Willy with his very sharp teeth! And then there are those strange half memories that make him think he might be a werewolf. When people start to disappear, Willy, and the others, begin to think if his suspiscion about himself might be true. Fortunately, it's not, as Willy is not repsonsible for these mysterious disappearances, Dr. Gene Splicer is! However, there is a reason why Willy has these strange memories, and yes, they are the evil doctor's fault. That is the whole premise of this story, and that is exactly what happens to Jamie Craine turned Foxx. Jamie has a hard time fitting in at Acme Loo, as he doens't know anything about how to be a toon, causing the other Toonsters to wonder about him. An interesting sub-plot centers around Hamton's "decision" not to grow up. This of course has a major impact on his relationship with Fifi, it ends it. To quote the author's introduction: "In this story, Babs and Buster are engaged, and Bugs Bunny has an absolutely stunning wife named Claudia Rabbit. She is flirtatious and can make any man do whatever she pleases. Also, there are a few new characters besides Claudia. One is Petta Stinkay, at this time Pepe LePew's fiance'. Most of the characters are in an incredibly popular band Babs started a few years before called "Baberella." At the moment they are a country band, and have been very successful. Babs owns a race-horse farm called "Hopeful Farms", and her good friend Claudia owns the adjoining ranch called "Double U Ranch." None of these characters know Darkwing, but they are about to meet him. This is just the first in a whole series of stories about these characters. It is how Claudia, Babs, and the rest of Baberella met Darkwing Duck and his most feared enemies, the Fearsome Five." That actually sums it all up pretty nicely, so I'll just leave it at that. I'll give you all one guess as to who the villian is. Along the way, Shirley get's to try her charms on the wolf, we get to see his little brother John continue to be a monster, and we meet an old friend of Willy's who serves as the crux for the whole story. He and Monty get into a real knock down drag out fight, and it's Monty who gets the worse of it. Anyway, Lance, Buster and the others now want to make Monty pay for insulting Fifi and attacking Lance, so they devise a rather clever plan to embarrass him. Once that is accomplished, Lance and Fifi can begin what looks like is going to be a wonderful relationship. DIZZIES by Ryan Farnsworth (SuperFarns@aol.com) Elmyra, Dizzy, The Two Hunters, Babs, Fifi, Plucky, Shirley, Hamton What we have here is a TTA parody of the movie, "Critters." Several "Dizzies" have escaped from the space prison where the warden is none other than Elmyra herself! She sends to hunters to Earth to destroy the escaped Dizzies, as if she can't snuggle them, nobody can! Once they arrive, the hunters take the form of Buster and Fifi, while the Dizzies wreak havoc on Acme Acres. Eventually they are cornered at a Weenie Burger and dealt with, and the hunters decide to go home, but they somehow manage to pick up an uninvited passenger, as a certain purple skunkette wants to look for love on the final frontier. Farnsworth (SuperFarns@aol.com) Babs, Shirley, Fifi, Hamton, Buster, Plucky, Bugs, Yosemite Sam, A follow up to Ryan's original Toonbusters story that is, not suprisingly, loosely based upon the movie, Ghostbusters 2. In a nutshell, Buster, Plucky and Hamton discover a lot of ghost residue from the previous ghost incident has formed into a load of nasty slime. Of course, they get in trouble for doing this, but before they can be punished, the slime becomes a ghost and they have to deal with it. In the end they are helped out by Babs, Shirley and Fifi, and they get the ghost, and the Acme Loo cafeteria at the same time! Related Artwork: toonbu2.jpg, drawn by the author. An Off-Color Story by David Gerstein (DGE@ECN.egmont.com) Pete Puma, Gogo, Buster Babs, Hamton, Plucky, Little Beeper, Calamity, Shirley, Furball, Sweetie, Foghorn Leghorn, Porky Pig, Porky Pig, Porky Pig, Porky Pig, Porky Pig, Monty, Egghead, Ham & Ex, Gabby Goat, Gerald Goat, The Mad Musician, Kansas City Kitty, Rochester Mouse, Spike Spider, vaious other old time WB Toons in cameo appearances, Dizzy. When Porky Pig shows one of his old B&W cartoons at an assembly, Plucky has a fit because he saw that film on TV recently, and it was in color. When Porky explains that is because they remade the old films in color by tracing the frames, Plucky wants to know what happend to the Toons that had to have been created as a result of this action. Porky doesn't know, so Plucky, partly to avoid Porky's wrath over disrupting his presentation, takes it upon himself to locate these missing Toons. He drags Hamton along for the ride, and after an encounter with Egghead and various other old time Looney Toons, Gabby Goat and his cousin Gerald join in the quest. As it turns out, these new/old color Toons are being held prisoner by several old B&W Toon villans who want them to make a color paint that will stick to their B&W bodies to save their carrers, unaware that these new color versions of the old B&W toons are not the old Toons with color added, but all new color ones. Anyway, after finding where the bad guys are holdng these prisoners, Plucky and Hamton effect a rescue, of sorts, and with the villians in custody and the colorized toons set free, everything can get back to normal. Remember that costume that Buster wore to get into all the yearbook pictures so he could teach Babs and Plucky a lesson? Well, it seems that the costume was made in the image of a real Toon, Jeff Johnson, who helped Buster pull that stunt off. This story introduces Jeff, who is apparently quite bright, and who also can weild magical powers. The plot centers around a rather volitile jet fuel that Jeff and Calamity created, and Monty's attempt to steal it. Needless to say, he is foild, but by the time the story is over, and at the end it is very clear, there is something more to Jeff than meets the eye, but only the future will tell what that is. EXTREME PLUCK by Michael Sherry (msherry@freenet.columbus.oh.us) Shirley, Fifi, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Buster, Sweetie, Jamie Farr, Elmyra, Alan Alda, David Ogden-Stiers, Gary Burghoff, Loretta Swit, McLean Stevenson, Bugs Bunny, Monty Question. The blending of the two programs is done so well here that it's a wonder that WB didn't try this during the show's original run. The plot? Sgt. O'Duck is running a scam to make some money without Capt. Rabbiter knowing about it. The Watertower Gang is approaching Fort Comedy with hostile intent and it's up to Sheriff Loon to stop them. Loaded with lots of gags, it makes for a hillarious read. THE CARROT CRIME by Samantha Felisha Schreiber (Debriansk@webtv.net) Buster, Babs, Shirley, an old inventor, Duck Vader In this short, fast paced tale, we learn that Duck Vader has stolen all the carrot juice in Acme Acres and is using it to power his latest weapon that he wants to destroy Planet X with. When they are denied access though, Monty swears his revenge. Will he have it? What form will it take? Only part two will tell. Stand By Toons By Hudson Duck and Mycroft Bunny (hudson@acmeonline.net & Mycroft@burrow.com) Hudson Duck, Mycroft Bunny, Dizzy, Hamton, Plucky, Shirley, Buster, Babs, Lardless, Tweety, Calamity, L'il Beeper, Barkie Markie. Once, there were four friends, Hudson Duck, Mycroft Bunny, Dizzy Devil and Hamton J. Pig. They decided they wanted to audition to get on this new show called Tiny Toons Adventures. This is tale of how they went to the place where the auditions were being help. Told first person POV by Hudson, this is a very, different story. It is loaded with throw away one liners that have nothing to do with the context of where they happen, such as, "We began to have irrational fears of termites." The story, such as it is, takes a back seat to clever writing and silly lines, but it's still an entertaining read. A Change of Heart by Gypsy (InvisigothGypsy@starmail.com) Shirley, Babs, Fifi, Plucky, Fowlmouth, Calamity, Furball, Bugs, Hamton, Foghorn Leghorn, Gizelle, Jasmine, Mary Melody, Sweetie, Elmyra A dance is coming up, and Shirley is dreading the inevitable pestering from Plucky and Fowlmouth as they both try to get her to go to the dance with them. But, while Fowlmouth is his usual obnoxious self, Plucky is actually being nice to her. This impresses her so much that she actually asks him to go to the dance. Unfortunately, the dance is interuppted by Gizelle and Jasmine, Shirley's old enemies from ballet class, who preceed to ruin her whole evening. As such Shirley decideds she needs to remake her whole image, and she does. Is it a perminate one? Does Plucky really love her? Does she really love Plucky. All this and more is answered as the story concludes, and a real mess is thus avoided. Related Artwork: heart.gif Drawn by DeRaptor. Plucky and Shirley at the dance. This is a follow up story to Mike's previous tale, "Buster's Dark Desires." But, while it does pick up that narrative and furthers it, this story is told in a very different style from its antecedent. First off, it is told first person POV from the viewpoint of newcomer, Jake E'stinky, a skunk. Anyway, in the aftermath of the previous story, everyone still thinks Babs is dead, and Buster, although he is grieved by the loss, has moved on to a new romance with Fifi. But, Babs want him back, but she just doens't know how to do it. Enter Jake, who is rather captivated by Fifi. Eventually, Jake and Babs meet, in a rather bizzare way, and they agree to help each other obtain what they want. It ends there, for now. Only the next story will tell if their plan sucseeds. As the title implies, this is a sequal to Ryan's previous story, Dizzies. As with it's predecessor, it is a parody of the movie "Critters," and follows the same basic plot. Fifi, now a Bounty Hunter, must return to Earth with her two partners to get the Dizzies they left behind on their previous visit. As soon as they arrive, the mayhem and dstruction begins. When it is over, Fifi decides to stay on Earth this time, just in case. This proves fortunate, as she does find some another couple of Dizzy eggs. Unfortunately, galactic jailer Elmyra wants them back intact... Related Artwork: dizzy2.jpg, drawn by the author. A snap-shot of the three Bounty Hunters, ready for action. To spice things up a bit, a character named Andreas C. Galem is thrown into the mix, who uses magic to travel between different dimensions in his quest to find several parts of a strange artifact. Thus, using this magic to get there, the Acme Zone counterparts to the Toonsters can exist in Acme Acres at the time as them, leading everything up to a dramatic showdown. TIB Toons In Black By Ryan Farnsworth (SuperFarns@aol.com) Buster, Bugs, Monty, Foghorn Leghorn, Hamton, Babs What we have here, as the title implies, is a TTA parody of Men In Black. What is Perfecto Plaza? It is an alternate Tooniverse, inhabited by very similar counterparts of the folks that live in Acme Acres. It is ruled by the ruthless Lord High Mayor, and do to a strange twist of technology, Buster, Babs, Plucky, Shirley, Ruebella and Alex Redolence are all transported there to work with the resistance to overthrow the villianous tyrant. One again, Jerry makes good use of the "reformed Ruby" he developed for his storylines, and the characters "borrowed" from Jeremy Jurrens world. This is the first story in a trilogy, and as this one ends, there are some suggestions as to where the next installment may go. Miranda by JERRY D. WITHERS (aka Furrball T. Cat) (jwithers@tcfn.org) Rubella Rat, Miranda Mink, RuBarb, Emily Bunny, Eric Bunny, Mortimer Bunny, Robin Rabbit, Margo Mallard, Chuck Norris, Babs, Wile E. Coyote Once again, Jerry makes excellent use of some of the "original" characters created for other fanfics, the turned over a new leaf Rubella Rat, and a new character all his own. Enter Miranda Mink. A newcomer to Acme Loo who has a couple of problems. The first is that she is confined to a wheelchair as a result of an accident with an anvil a few years eariler. The second, and apparently related problem is that she has a tendancy to undergo involuntary spin- changes whenever she is under too much stress. All of this promtps to enlist the aide of Babs, who decides to enlist the aide of Wile E. in the hopes of helping Miranda gain control of the changes, and her legs. This is inadvertantly seen by just about everyone, including Honey Bunny, who is understandably upset by it. Anyway, Babs, Shirley and Fifi take it upon themselves to help Honey win Lola back, and Buster is determined to figure out just what the heck is going on. All is not as it may seem, and by the stories end, many interesting facts are revealed, and some others are hinted at. The Best Things in Life Are Free by Rebecca Littlehales (Esbeckras@AOL.com) Monty, Grovely, Plucky, Buster, Babs, Shirley, Elmyra, Furball What would happen if Montanna max lost his fortune? Well, for one thing, he'd learn who is only friend is, and that her name is Elmyra. And as bizzare as it sounds, he decides that this is not such a bad thing. Of course, things do start to look up for him by the story's end, on a both a financial, and a personal note. Simple Solutions by Plucky Warner (pluck@ihug.co.nz) Bugs, Daffy, Buster, Plucky, Babs. Shirley, Fifi, Fowlmouth, Furball What will it take for Buster to finally get up the nerve to ask Babs out? Unfortunately, he decides to allow Plucky to give him advice. Withers (lmwithers@hotmail.com ) Texas Bix Bender, Too Slim, Woody Paul, Ranger Doug, Joey, Buster, Babs, Sidemeat, Bugs, Plucky, Honey Bunny, Mary Melody This is the first part of a thirteen part serial drama that costars the TTA gang and The Riders in the Sky, the stars of a long running cowboy radio show. In this first installment, we see the Toons arrive in the Riders locale thanks to one of Bugs's well known navigational errors. Everybody meets everyone else, and things get moving. Closures by Lee M. Withers (lmwithers@hotmail.com ) Buster, Babs, Bugs, Honey Bunny. This is set in the immediate aftermath of my own "And That's A Wrap!" story, and brings certain elements of Lee's previous stories to a close, hence the title. Readers of my Trilogy know that I postulated that Buster is Bugs Bunny son, and that his mother was "Mrs. Bugs Bunny," from the early 40's short, "Hold The Lion, Please!" whom folks around here have gotten into the habit of calling Felcia Rabbit. Well, this story asks the question of what if Mrs. Bugs was not Buster's mom, and someone else was. It should be obvious to careful readers who it will turn out to be, but the revelation is fraught with difficulties. Fortunately for all, they are soon resolved. The Toony Way: Episode Two: "BY THE WINK OF AN EYE AND THE PRICK OF MY THUMBS, SOMETHING _STUPID_ THIS WAY COMES!" By Lee M. Withers (lmwithers@hotmail.com ) Babs, Buster, Too Slim, Woody Paul, Ranger Doug, Plucky, Mary Melody, Joey, Texas Bix Bender, Side Meat, Bugs, Honey Bunny, Algernon Swinbourne Slocum, Charlie, Monty. And so the saga continues. After a breif recap and intro to the story, we see the arival of the villians, and eveyone goes down to the local mercantile to do some shopping. It is clear that things are going to take off soon, but only the next chapter will tell. Buster Loves... Elmyra? by Jodie Sullivan (lbunny@wingsisp.com) Elmyra, Calamity, Buster, Babs, Shirley, Plucky, Fifi, Bugs Actually, that's her real name. To see the name she usually uses on the mailing list, read the story. It's temporarily a secret. As far as the story goes, well, Elmyra tricks Buster into thinking that she is Babs and that Babs is Elmyra. (Hmm, sounds vaguely familiar, but it's not.) Of course, it doens't work for long, but in the end, not all is as it should be... The Lost World: Jurrasic Duck by udx (udx@hotmail.com) Buster, Babs, Monty, Speedy, Polly, Fanboy, udx, Stanley Ricketts, "Pluckyosaurus," "Daphineosaurus," "Daffyosaurus Rex," Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Plucky. Okay, what we have here is a sequal to Jurrasick Duck, but written by a different author. The general plot follows that of the movie, Lost World, Jurrasic Park, but the similarities end there. Two guest stars from the Samurii Pizza Cats and Fanboy from Freakazoid, join Buster and Babs on their quest to save Site B from the clutches of Stanley Ricketts, the villian of Chanell Umptee3 TV. Along the way, lotsa weird things happen, but eventually all is put to rights. The Wing Commander Saga TTA Long Ear, Episode 3: The Battle By Danny Short (no_one_else@hotmail.com) Heaven, Cowboy, BlueWing, RedHawk, LeBeauty, King, Captain Kelly, Hamton. As the saga of the TTA Long Ear continues, battle is joined, and won, but the was is only starting. Only future installments will answer the many questions that are raised, and more drama is certain to follow. The Stupor Bowl by Mike Cote (Mikote@AOL.com) Buster, Plucky, Hamton, Babs, Dizzy, Furball, Fowlmouth, Calamity, Shirley, Fifi, Gayle Sayers, Gogo. Remember how the Toonster's won The Acme Bowl? Well, in the aftermath of that stunning victory, Buster has decided that this year, they are gonna win the national championship. Problem; no one else on the team shares his optimism. In fact, his is so irritatingly optimistic that the whole team quits, and he winds up having to be the entire starting lineup in the first game all by himself! Of course, thanks to the help of a friend, the rest of the team, does come back to help him... but to no avail. But, its only one game. They can still be champions, right? Wrong! We're Off to see the Wizard, Tiny Toons Style! Beakazoid! by Plucky Warner (pluck@ihug.co.nz) Buster, Plucky, Freakazoid, Cosgrove, Paul Harvey, Babs, Shirley, Elmer Fudd, Hamton, Brian the pet rock, Elmyra, Pinky and The Brain, The Hunstman. What we have here is a TTA/F!/P&TB crossover. Plucky has been transformed into Beakazoid, Elmyra now owns the mice because Monty bought Acme Labs, and Freakazoid has to investigate this hero in Acme Acres who is copying his style. Neeldess to say, as all these elements come together, comedy, and a story, is the result. Eventually, B! and F! have to join forces to stop P&TB from taking over the world. They succeed, but this is not neccessarily the end, assuming the suprise villian ever gets his act together. It's orientation day at Acme Loo, and the former Perfecto students, as well as some others are getting integrated into the new environment, including Penny Pig, whom Hamton breaks up with Fifi for, and Gwen Hen, who has a crush on Fowlmouth. Shirley, now happily dating Plucky, advises Gwen to make a play for Fowlmouth, and she susessfully does so, which is good news, as you need a date to get into the big dance this Friday night. Fifi is burying her sadness over Hamton dumping her by going with Yakko, and in a suprise development, Dot is now dating Gogo Dodo! In spite of all these changes though, much of Acme Loo is still the same. Now all Shirley has to do is figure out why she is jealous of Gwen over Fowlmouth... Actually, a better way to put that is that this is a TTA/StH fanfic crossover. Let me explain that. You see, Bear, who is a fox, is a character who appears in several StH fanfics by the author. Got that? Good, because that's really all the background you need. As it turns out, Bear is rather disorented by his arrival in Acme Acres, where things are very different from his home in Knothole, and everyone seems to think he is a transfer student. The newcomers first introduced in Everything Changes are still adjusting to life at Acme Loo. Wild Takes, Weeine Burger, and especially Elmyra are strange phenomenon to them, but they seem to be adjusting. Unfortunately, Monty still wants to make life miserable for them, so Buster and Babs wanna make sure they are okay. Fortunately, they don't seem to need to do so much. The new kids seem to be able to handle themselves pretty well. And, they seem to want to be warming to Acme Loo, and want to learn as much about the place as they can... From the story: "While the following story is not sexually explicit, it does discuss a mature topic and may not be suitable for some readers. The opinions represented in this fanfic are solely those of the author." And with that, we start the story. Chad Cheetah is a newcomer to Acme Loo. He can run *really* fast, which makes him a great candidate for the track team. He also happens to be gay, which allows a very really hateful jerk by the name of Russell Raccoon to toment him for no good reason. Fortunately for him, none of the regular toonsters share this animosity. After some initial awkwardness, Chad is accepted as a member of the team by all but Russell, who after some unpleasantness the night before, does his best to ridicule Chad at the trackmeet. Chad will have none of it, he just gives his all and Acme wins the comepetion, mostly thanks to his efforts. Chad is now part of the team in everyway, and Russell has to pay for his bad behavior. Philbert Balderdash, Granny, Miranda Mink, Harold Purrenstein, Millie Rat, Nigel Carrotte Set in the soon aftermath of BL2.5, this is a sequal to the original "RuBarb," written by the same author. He overcharges for their taxi ride, sabotages their rollercoster ride, tries to get Buster eaten by a mob of angry lobsters, and get Babs wet. Fifi's parents don't like the fact that she is not learning enough French at Acme Loo. So, they move to Quebec. Complication: Hamton and Fifi are happily dateing, and this move is real bummer to them. They keep in touch via e-mail, letters, and phone calls, but it's just not the same. Eventually, Hamton raises enough money to go to visit her, and as a result, she makes up her mind to go back to Acme Acres, and happily, her parents agree. The Acme Acres 500 by Leandro Martins Pinto (renebunny@hotmail.com) Babs, Shirley, Fifi, Penelope, Buster, Ted Turtle, Hamton, Plucky, Monty, Bugs Bunny, Calamity, Yosemite Sam, Furball, L'il Beeper, Sylvester, The Road Runner, Mary Melody, Pepper, Granny, Skippy, Slappy Squirrel, Herbie, Dick Dastardly, Racer X. Ted Turtle is the (author created) TTA answer to Cecil Turtle. He and Buster are arguing over who was the better racer, Bugs or Cecil, with the larger subtext of rabbits vs. turtles. One thing leads to another, and before you know it, Buster has been snookered by Babs into challenging Cecil to a race. But this is no simple foot race like in the old Bugs/Cecil shorts, this is a full blown auto race, the Acme Acres 500, and *everyone* is in it. Dozens of toony gags complicate the proceedings, and in the end well, after an odd twist, we're right back where we started from. The gang head there for some fun, only to stumble onto more than they bargianed for. Enter Byran Bunny, and unwitting stooge of the villians of the story, who have manipulated him into captureing not only the TTA gang, but the toons from Animaniacs as well. It's all part of a twisted plot on the behalf of the bad guys to take over prime time. Needless to say, they fail, and a horrible fate awaits their leader. (Horrible for a toon, that is.) In the end, Buster and Babs grow closer as a result of it all, and things are back to normal. Bugs wants to create a new version of TTA, and no one is really happy. When Buster, Babs and Plucky, who are living in three differnet parts of the country, hear about Bugs's plans, they all rush back to Acme Acres for differnet reasons connected to them. Anyhoo, they all re-meet, we learn why Buster and Babs split up, a few other odd things, and then, after some strange developments, things start to head back to where they used to be, in a toony sort of way. As such, he winds up getting various parts of his face pierced, his head shaved, and the threat of a tatoo is hovering over him. And, to make things really interesting, we learn that he has a crush on Mary Melody! Eventually he does get away from Eve, who does find someone else, but the many unanswered questions make it clear that we will be seeing Eve Ill again... **The Springala genie of the south by Urian Dang (udx@hotmail.com) Elmyra, Pinky, The Brain, Babs, Springala What we have here is a Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain fanfic. Final comments: It is my intention that this Guide never be "finished" as I hope that I will often need to add information about new stories to it. Also, if anyone has any more information about the stories already listed, please send it to me. Another thing I would like to get is valid E-mail addresses for the few people that I don't have them for. Any help in that area would be greatly appreciated. And finally, I would like to have more readers of these stories contribute short comments about them for inclusion in the next revision, as well as comments from the various authors that they would like to make about their stories. All of this, as well as comments about the Guide itself, are *always welcome at HKUriah@AOL.com. Now if there was only some way to forward a copy of this thing to Mr. Spielberg...
